SharePoint Developer

We are currently seeking to add SharePoint Developers to our growing Information Management Practice area. The SharePoint Developer/Designer will work with the current SharePoint development team to create custom SharePoint solutions for our clients. The position will be responsible for configuring the SharePoint infrastructure and developing required applications including forms and workflows.

Responsibilities
  • Implement high-quality, scalable and extendable SharePoint solutions
  • Incorporate standard architecture and Software Development Methodologies for all SharePoint customizations
  • Awareness of migration and implementation plans that address both tactical and strategic needs
  • Design, develop, and implement electronic forms and workflows
  • Coding, testing and implementing solutions in a SharePoint environment
  • Work from high-level requirements through detailed specifications, prototype, software deployment and administration
  • Knowledgeable of SharePoint capabilities / workflows
Required Skills
  • SharePoint development experience using Visual Studio 2005, 2008, or 2010 (experience with 2008 is required)
  • Experience with SharePoint templates (site templates, list templates, master page customization) is required
  • Strong understanding and experience with the SharePoint object model
  • Experience developing Web Parts, Event Handlers, etc.
  • Web development experience (HTML, CSS, XSL, XSLT, JavaScript) is required
  • Experience developing SharePoint workflows in SharePoint Designer or Visual Studio, a plus
  • InfoPath experience, a plus
  • Adobe Acrobat or LiveCycle Designer experience, a plus
  • Business Intelligence development experience, a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of programming / systems analysis, as well as quality assurance, prototyping, construction, integration, and migration functions
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills, using them to resolve technical problems; possesses an excellent understanding of business requirements and IT strategies
  • Full lifecycle experience in architecting large-scale applications
  • Possess strong Microsoft platform knowledge and skills
Candidates must possess a minimum of an Associates Degree in a related field.
